SEAL
The coat of arms as blazoned upon a white disc enclosed by a dark blue border edged on the outside with a gold rope inscribed with "USCGC HADDOCK" above and "WPB 87347" below in gold.
SHIELD
The USCGC Haddock's primary missions include Search and Rescue, Homeland Security and Law Enforcement and are represented by the three stars. The life ring together with the middle star also highlights the Search and Rescue mission. The swimming haddock recalls the namesake of the cutter. The wavy partition line alludes to coastal water, Haddock's area of responsibility. The anchor denotes the rich maritime history of the Coast Guard. Gold is emblematic of honor and red is for courage and sacrifice. Blue and white are the colors of the sea and represent loyalty and purity of purpose respectively.

The signal flags are the call sign of the USCGC Haddock. The ship's wheel symbolizes guidance, navigation, training and leadership
